A gentle garden game
The Cloud Garden
A small island in the sky that grows at your pace, and adapts to how much energy you have today.
Out now on Google Play. iPhone and iPad are coming soon. Email us to hear when.
It starts with how you feel
Each time you open Lumina, it asks one question, and shapes the whole game around your answer. You can change it at any time.
I have some energyPuzzles, planting and exploring, all open.
Somewhere in betweenA lighter island. Hints always on, nothing pressing.
Low, be gentle with meRain falls, the garden tends itself, and you rest.

Rest is part of it
Most games punish you for stepping away. Lumina was built around it. On a hard day the rain comes in and the garden tends itself while you do nothing at all. Rest even earns its own reward: one island, the Moon Garden, only opens to people who have rested.
There are no streaks to break, no daily goals and no timers. Your island keeps growing whether or not you show up, and nothing wilts, expires or is owed while you are away.
Gentle pastimes
When you have the energy for something more, there are small, unhurried pastimes: wind chimes with no wrong notes, lanterns to light, fireflies that are slow on purpose. None of them can be failed or timed out, and there is always a nudge if you want one.

Nine islands to find
Plant and tend your first island, then find more as the garden grows. Each one has its own weather, its own plants and its own quiet, and visitors wander in, from a garden snail to the fireflies.
Your first island. Open sky, slow weather, a long way down.
A terrace of old fruit trees at the golden end of the day. Windfalls in the grass, wasps too lazy to bother you.
Low water and tall reeds, and the sound of both. Herons stand in it. Frogs run the place.
A hill of long grass with a slow mill on top. The sails turn whether or not there is wind, which nobody has explained.
An island that only opens to people who have rested. Silver grass, a well of light, and an owl who keeps her own hours.
A mountain shoulder above treeline. Wind in the pines, snow that never settles hard, a stream you can hear from anywhere.
THE FAR SKY PACKUnderground and very dark by design, for light-sensitive days. Geodes throw a low glow.
THE FAR SKY PACKA sandbar at the low end of the afternoon. Warm shallow water on three sides and nothing on the horizon.
THE WARM WATERS PACKMineral pools stepping down a warm hillside, steam standing in the air. Built to feel like heat on a bad joint.
THE WARM WATERS PACKComfort, your way
Lumina was made for people living with chronic illness, pain, fatigue or migraine, so comfort is never buried three menus deep.

Yes. The whole game is free to play. Rare plant varieties and two island packs are optional one-time purchases, and there are no subscriptions.
Nothing bad. Nothing wilts and nothing is owed, and the garden keeps growing while you are away.
Open Comfort. Low light, right now dims everything at once, and you can warm the screen, soften high sounds, turn off movement and make buttons bigger.
